such direction such person shall be tried before A

7. The following pensities may be inflicted in respect of offences against these regulations:-

(e) by a magistrate, imprisonment with or without

hard labour for a term not exceeding six months,

or a fine not exceeding $880, or both euch

imprisonment and fire.

(b) on indictment, or by court-martial, imprisonneht

for life with or without herd labour, or any

less punishment, or, in the cess of offences

where intention of assisting the enemy is proved,

death or any less punishment.

B. (1) Every person who aids, bete, counerle or produces

the commission of any offence against these regulations nay

be tried convicted and punished in ell respecte as if he

were a principal offerder,

(2) Every person who attempts to commit ery offence

against these reguletions shall be liable to the came

penalty as if he had eotually committed euch offence.

9. No prosecution shell be instituted under these regulations

except with the consent of the Attorney Generali Provided

that such consent shall not be neccssery before the

execution of any staroh or arrest or before the issue of

any warrant.

10. These regulations may be cited as the Censorship

kegulations, 1916.
